The School Day

School opens at 8.20am each morning and learning begins at 8.30am.  School finishes at 3.00pm each day.  Children attend Stocksbridge Nursery Infant School for a total of 32.5 hours per week.

SOME NOTES ABOUT OUR WRAP AROUND CARE AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

WRAP AROUND CARE (BREAKFAST CLUB AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE)

We now offer our families breakfast club and after school wrap around care in partnership with Stocksbridge Junior School. If you are interested in accessing this provision please let the staff in our school office know.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

In additional to wrap around care, we also offer a range of after school activity clubs for children in our Reception*, Year 1 and Year 2 classes (Nursery children do not added activity clubs). They are held in school 3pm to 4pm and are booked every half term. The activities that we offer change over time. Examples include Dance, Gymnastics, Football, Gardening and Crafts. Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

*Please note that our after school activity clubs are not usually offered to our new Reception children during the first half of the Autumn Term (September to October). This is to allow children to settle into their new school routine before additional provision is added after school.
