We had a lovely look at English in school this morning. We saw lots of wonderful things, all the children engaged with their learning, smiling and having fun. Our Ye children were continuing their learning on Florence Nightingale. They looked at old pictures to work out the things that she did and then they role played them with their friends. There was lots of great vocabulary used. Other children were practising sounding out simple words, finding the letters to make the word and having a go at writing it at the end. Our Y1 children wrote some wonderful sentences about police officers. They are working very hard to make sure they form their letters properly.
