On a wet Friday in November, we went into Sheffield on the bus to see if we had won an award for all the work we do around Active Travel. We were runners up for the Best Active Travel Initiative. The way our work has become just part of what we do was recognised.
We enjoyed seeing The Town Hall. We spent time colouring pictures all about Active Travel. We met the Lord Mayor who gave out the prizes. Smokey Joe explained how Sheffield had cleaned up the air. One of our lovely pupils took part in the acting and he was brilliant.
The children were great ambassadors for our school. We enjoyed our time and we entertained the passengers on the bus home singing our nativity songs!
