We can just tell by the children’s faces what a brilliant time we had in Bridlington. The weather was kind, the beach was perfect and the grown-ups who joined us were amazing. We could not have done it without them. The children had a paddle but we weren’t worried about getting wet as the sun and the breeze quickly dried us off. We had a sandcastle competition and some relay races; it was a good job that the tide was out and the beach was firm and flat, otherwise we may have still been there! We finished a lovely trip with some ice-creams and a sea-side sing-a-long! The grown-ups commented on the impeccable manners of the children in our school and the other grown-ups on the beach were smiling and laughing at our very happy children.
