Our Year 1 & Year 2 children (and our grown-ups!) have had a fabulous day out at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We looked at lots of wonderful, colourful and inspirational sculptures. Then we drew some of them as we walked around the grounds. It was fantastic as we were able to touch the sculptures and even stand inside some of them. During the brilliant workshops we were able to make our own ‘natural’ sculptures out of objects that we just picked up off the ground as well as make a big sculpture that we made by working as a team.
