‘ Our School Councillors met for the first time at the beginning of October. Here is what they discussed>
Destiny, Pippa, Tommy, Rosie, Iris, Vinnie, Hector, Willow, Harry, Miss Rogers
- Welcome to our new school counsellors. We talked about what school council is:
– Things we can see and do for school.
– We have to tell everyone what our class think. We represent them.
– Teachers can decide things for school, but sometimes the children decide too.
- We chatted about Children In Need that is approaching on Friday 13th November. The school counsellors offered some ideas.:
– Dressing up day (as a character or a ‘thing’ like Superman or a ballerina).
– A sparkle and shine day
– Pudsey clothes and ears
– Bun sale
– Toy sale
– Something with Gladiators
Miss Rogers gave each class a book and they should write down some ideas and bring them back to the next meeting please.
